Summertime…

The 3 or so months we spent as kids swimming, playing hide-and-seek, hanging out with friends, having sleep-overs, staying up late…those were the days.  When the furthest we went was a car trip to grandpa and grandmas house or a week at Scout camp.  By the 2nd month we were bored, by the 3rd month mom was ready for us to go back to school.   These days we still play hide and seek, sleep over and stay up late (ok so the kids do, I’m done by 9pm) and do Scout camp.  But road trips have taken on a whole new meaning…we go farther, and head somewhere really memorable.

Spectacular. Amazing.  Beautiful. Peaceful.  WOW.

I hope you are enjoying your summer, I know we are.   And I’m pretty sure we’ll NEVER be ready for it to end!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! THOSE WERE THE DAYS WEREN'T THEY? BUT WE ARE MAKING NEW MEMORIES FOR OUR CHILDREN AS WELL, AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL CARRY ON THE TRADITION WITH THEIR CHILDREN. SUMMER IS GOING BY WAY TOO FAST! ENJOY WHAT IS LEFT OF IT, MARCIA

Our memories help us to be the people we are today. You are making wonderful ones! Isn't Yosemite fabulous this year? Those falls are the best I have EVER seen them.
