Welcome Spring!!!

Room With a Past is bursting with color this month!  Garden décor, flowers, bunnies and chicks for Easter…it is just delightful!!!  We’re open one (4 day) weekend a month, and then we close up and re-do the place for the next month.  How fun is that?!  Hop on over to their website for info on monthly openings.

Mementos celebrates spring with lots of vintage image tags, cards and prints…and a beautiful dress form!

Last but not least…I’ve been dabbling with ‘CeCe Caldwell’s’ Paints…oh how I LOVE them!  All green…no fumes…go on like a dream and LOOK at how adorable this 3pc doll table/chairs came out!!!

A Beautiful Start to the New Year

At Room With a Past things are changing constantly.  For a couple of months the reds, greens and golds of the holidays were all over the shop.  Then we celebrated the new year with our annual ‘deal with the dealers’ opening on New Years Day. We wore pajamas (seriously!) and for five hours it was a shopping frenzy for customers that come out to celebrate the first day of the new year with us.  It was CRAZY FUN!!! 

So the New year started out looking something like this (taken a couple of years ago on 1/1!):
